Change your password
When to use this
Use this when you are already signed in and want to replace your current password.
What you need first
- You are signed in
- Your current password, unless the system is forcing a password change
Steps
1. Open My Profile. 2. Open the Security tab. 3. Enter your current password if the page asks for it. 4. Enter a new password with at least 8 characters. 5. Confirm the new password. 6. Choose Update Password.
What happens next
- The new password is saved immediately if the update succeeds.
- If your account was flagged to force a password change, the system redirects you back into the app after the update.
If it goes wrong
- If the page says your current password is required, enter the password you use now.
- If the new password is shorter than 8 characters, choose a longer one.
- If the two new password fields do not match, re-enter them carefully.
