Reset your password
When to use this
Use this when you cannot sign in because you forgot your password or your current password no longer works.
What you need first
- Access to the email address on your user account
Steps
1. Open Reset password from the login screen. 2. Enter your email address. 3. Choose Send reset link. 4. Check your inbox and open the reset link. 5. Enter a new password with at least 8 characters. 6. Confirm the new password and submit it. 7. Go back to login and sign in with the new password.
What happens next
- The system shows the same success message whether or not the email exists, so check the correct inbox carefully.
- After a successful reset, you are sent back to the login screen.
If it goes wrong
- If the reset page says the link is invalid or expired, request a new reset link.
- If the new passwords do not match, re-enter them carefully.
- If the new password is too short, use at least 8 characters.
