When to use this
Use this when you want to see other work close to where you are already working.
What you need first
- At least one job with a site location in your current day summary
- Access to My Work
Steps
1. Open My Work. 2. Open the Nearby tab. 3. Review the recommended jobs and their distance from your current work area. 4. Choose Details to inspect a nearby job before acting on it. 5. If you are allowed to take it on, choose Add to my day.
What happens next
- Nearby jobs are loaded using the location of your current or most recently completed job with a site.
- Jobs already on your day are filtered out of the nearby list.
- Adding a job to your day may reassign it or add today’s date to the job, depending on its current allocation.
If it goes wrong
- If no nearby jobs appear, there may be no other jobs in that area or your current jobs may not have a site location.
- If the job is allocated to another team, the system may require dispatch reassignment before you can start it.
- If Add to my day fails, ask dispatch to confirm the assignment and planned date.
