Complete a task on a job
When to use this
Use this when one task on a job is finished and you want the job record to show that specific task as done.
What you need first
- The task has already been started.
- You have any after photos or evidence you want to keep with that task.
Steps
1. Open the job and find the active task. 2. Choose Complete on that task. 3. Add after photos if they help show the finished result. 4. Confirm the completion.
What happens next
- The task is marked as done.
- Any active task run is closed when you complete it.
- After photos stay attached to that task record when you uploaded them before confirming.
If it goes wrong
- If the system says the job must be started first, the main job is not in a valid execution state. Start or resume the job before completing the task.
- If you complete the wrong task, stop and ask the office how that task should be corrected before continuing.
- If photo upload fails, you can still complete the task without photos unless your team requires that evidence.
