Open the job map
When to use this
Use this when you need to inspect the mapped job location before travel, on arrival, or while working on site.
What you need first
- The job is visible in My Work.
- The job has a mapped location worth checking.
Steps
1. Open the job from My Work. 2. Choose the map action for that job. 3. Review the site location and any map details shown for the job.
What happens next
- The app opens the field job map for that specific job.
- You can use the map to confirm you are looking at the right place before you start or continue work.
If it goes wrong
- If the job opens without a useful map view, confirm the job has a site location and ask the office to correct it if needed.
- If you only need turn-by-turn navigation, use [Get directions to a job site](./get-directions-to-a-job-site.md) instead.
