Add a job to my day when allowed
When to use this
Use this when you need to pull an open or overdue job into today’s field list from nearby jobs, search, or team pool.
What you need first
- You are in My Work.
- You have a team for the selected day.
- The job is still open and available to your account.
Steps
1. Find the job in Nearby, Search, or Pool. 2. Choose Add to my day. 3. If the button says Assign to me, stop and read the reassignment warning before you continue. 4. Confirm the reassignment if the system tells you the job already belongs to another team. 5. Wait for My Work to reload, then check the Jobs tab again.
What happens next
- The selected date is added to the job’s scheduled dates.
- If the job was already assigned to a different team, the system can replace that team assignment and move the team, crew, and asset responsibility to your team.
- After a successful add, My Work returns you to the jobs list for that day.
If it goes wrong
- If you see No team found to add this job to, you are not attached to a team for that day. Ask the office to fix the plan first.
- If the job is already on your day, open the job instead of adding it again.
- If the job is assigned elsewhere and you are not sure whether to replace that team, stop and confirm with dispatch before continuing.
